Wotton, UK, Becomes the Primary Azenta System for UK Orders & Payments

Change in Orders & Banking Details
Dear Valued Customer,
We are writing to inform you of the latest enhancement being made to simplify your experience as you place orders with Azenta UK. As part of our rebranding effort two years ago, we established a single UK legal entity. However, we still had separate routing depending on the product line. As of December 2023, we have transitioned our Wotton, UK, facility into our primary Azenta UK system which will allow us to transact all UK orders and payments in the same way.
What this means for you:
- All orders you have been sending to our Wotton location will continue to be sent to SalesOrders.WOT SalesOrders.WOT@Azenta.com as they have been. No change here.
- You will now be able to place one order for all our Consumables and Instruments products, rather than creating one purchase order for Wotton and one for Manchester.
- Sales Order Acknowledgements will now come through the new system with a format consistent with Azenta UK entities.
- Invoices will come from our Manchester, UK entity and associated legal address.
- You will need to either modify the banking details you currently have in your vendor record or you will need to set up this entity as a new vendor in your system.
- All orders processed on or after 4 December 2023 will be processed in the new system
- Shipments going outside of the UK, will now be coming from our third party logistics provider in the Netherlands. This means you will notice a different Ship From location than you have historically seen for these orders.
- Another advantage you will see is the elimination of the need to import into the EU from the UK as this will now ship from the EU and will not require Customs clearance.
Our service level and commitment to you will remain unchanged during this transition.

Please use this information to update the supplier record in your procurement systems. The new process will go live on December 1, 2023. We request that you implement these changes by 4 February 2024.
