INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. and MONTREAL, Qué – January 2020 – Azenta Life Sciences is taking biobank monitoring to the next level with the upgrade of a state-of-the-art temperature tracking system at the Montreal, Quebec site.

Vice President of Services and Informatics for Azenta Life Sciences, Martin Long, says the installation at Montreal is part of ongoing continuous improvement efforts at all Azenta Life Sciences biobanking sites.
“This new temperature monitoring solution will allow Azenta Life Sciences to maintain temperature when moving freezers within the facility, extend temperature monitoring to include sample management carts, and improve redundancy of alarm systems,” Long shares.
The next two sites scheduled for temperature monitoring upgrades are El Segundo and Fresno, CA. All sites will transition to the new system by end of Q1 2020.

Additional data sources to be integrated in the future include asset tracking, validation, calibration, and utilities monitoring.
